Training Course on Cooperative Monitoring
About the Training CourseThe CMC Training Course on Cooperative Monitoring provides an overview of the technologies and procedures associated with cooperative monitoring. The course is taught by expert staff from Sandia National Laboratories and outside organizations. We show how cooperative monitoring, by applying technology to promote regional security, lessens the tensions that might motivate countries to acquire weapons of mass destruction. We discuss the relationship between cooperative monitoring and other means of ensuring security.
The introduction to cooperative monitoring includes examples of its past, present and future implementation. Technologies that support cooperative monitoring are surveyed with emphasis on their practical applications. A team exercise gives participants an opportunity to apply the information learned in a practical simulation. Course notes are provided.
**Currently there are no plans to conduct a Training Course on Cooperative Monitoring. Please contact us, if you would like to be notified, IF a course is offered in the future.**
